Getting To Know Brian
Brian first got involved with the Oregon Chapter of the Appraisal Institute on the Education Committee, which afforded him the opportunity to help the Chapter host classes. Brian was part of a team who frequently brought the best teachers with the most experience in the industry to teach advanced classes in Oregon.
After his service on the Education Committee in four consecutive years Brian was Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President & President of the Oregon Chapter.
After the Appraisal Institute service, he was appointed by the Oregon Governor’s Office to be on the Oregon ACLB (Appraiser Certification & Licensure Board), that, among other things, regulates appraisers while protecting the public. Brian was on the board and Vice-Chair of the ACLB for 8 years.
Brian is 1 of 4 people in Oregon to hold the Litigation Certificate from the Appraisal Institute.
